The Play-In tournament begins with the Seven-Eight Game in the Eastern Conference.
The Nets host the Cavaliers at 7 p.m. ET on TNT in the US, where the winner will earn the No. 7 seed in the East and a date with the No. 2 seed Celtics.
The loser of Tuesday’s game will look to avoid elimination later in the week when they face the winner of the Nine-Ten Game between the Hawks and Hornets.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will look to help the Nets qualify for the playoffs after a rollercoaster season that surprisingly landed them in the Play-In Tournament. Darius Garland and Evan Mobley will try to keep the Cavaliers’ passing season going, but they’ll have to do so without All-Star center Jarrett Allen, who went out with a fractured finger.
