Southern Miss baseball and LSU meet for the third time in three days in the Hattiesburg Regional on Monday (3 p.m., ESPN+).
The winner will earn the right to play in the super regionals of the NCAA tournament.
After collapsing in the ninth inning against the Tigers on Saturday at Pete Taylor Park, Southern Miss scored her rematch on Sunday.

The Golden Eagles won 8-4 over LSU, driving Justin Storm’s stellar five-run escape as they extended their season.
Both clubs will likely go into the game with exhausted pitching staffs. The Golden Eagles, who played twice on Sunday, avoided touching their bullpen entirely thanks to a nine-inning start from Hunter Riggins in a win over Kennesaw State.
However, Southern Miss coach Scott Berry will likely have limited options.
