Here are today’s topics…

-Strategist spencer ratter gave Gamecock fans their first taste of his abilities on Saturday night and did not disappoint. What was the most impressive play of the new Carolina signalman? What has he shown he can do? That’s a full breakdown of his performance, plus other quarterbacks like Luc Doty and Braden Davis. All impressed during the scrum.

-There’s a lot of chatter about the announced attendance for the spring game, plus a question or two about the mailbag. This is undoubtedly a big talking point on today’s episode, as well as general matchday operations at the Williams-Brice Stadium and how they need to improve.

-Football wasn’t the only bright spot for Carolina last weekend. The Gamecock baseball team rallied from a bad Game 1 to win the final two of a key Southeastern Conference series against Ole Miss. Saturday’s 9-8 win was a (hopefully) boost of confidence for this young team, which still has the ability to advance to the NCAA Tournament. We talk about the present and the future of Carolina Baseball.

– New men’s basketball coach Lamont Paris received its first engagement last weekend. Evansville transfer Troy London, who played high school at Baylor School in Chattanooga (and knew Paris well) will accompany the Gamecocks. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native suffered a wrist injury that kept him out of action for the Aces last season. He’s a keeper.

-On the breaking news front, the University of South Carolina Board of Trustees is going to undergo changes one way or the other. You can read about those HERE Plus, there’s a full breakdown of the changes and some needed commentary on the subject.

-From the iHelp Consulting Mailbag there are many topics, but the one that stands out is about the Offensive Coordinator Marcus Satterfield and what exactly was the plan with Saturday night play calls. Here’s a hint: he (hopefully) wasn’t showing much. Last spring he didn’t show much either, so there’s a precedent.
