Tekken 8 surprised us all and made an appearance at State of Play with an awesome gameplay trailer which is a major step up from Tekken 7.
With insane visual effects and gorgeous weather, we get a glimpse of a fight between Kazuya and Jin that shows off the power of the PS5. Powerful combos and hits and a major step up in environments really make this trailer shine, especially when compared to the seven-year-old Tekken 7.
Interestingly, the game doesn’t come to PS5 until the end of the trailer, and you can really see why in this trailer. This gives the game an edge over Street Fighter 6 which is coming to PS4 as well as PS5. We should hopefully get a better look at the fighting game later this week at the Tokyo Game Show.
If you are on Xbox, you will be able to play the game on Xbox Series X|S and the game will be released on PC, in addition to the PS5 version highlighted during Sony’s State of Play.

The game’s story will focus on the rivalry between Kazuya and Jin according to Harada du PlayStation Blogwhich definitely adds some serious flavor to the new entry.
